Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in the US. She is most famous for her role as Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She has also appeared as Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School before her family relocated to Ohio in the late 1970's. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for many years prior to trying out for film and TV roles. Anna had her first big part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. Anna continued to be a guest star in a few TV series and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years on Deadwood's season two. Skyler was the character she played in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and other films were also starring her. Gunn appeared in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn acted as the character Numbered Days in a four-part audio series that was released set in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last decades that were the life of Walter White.
