Adults are humans or animals who have completed their developmental stage. The term "adult" is often applied to human beings in order to define social and legal concepts. As opposed to someone that isn't considered an adult, or "minor", the legal adult is a person who has reached the age of majority which makes them independent, capable, and responsible. It is also possible to view them as"major" or "major". The age of 18 is an adult legal age but this definition can differ by country, legal rights or the development of a person's psychological.

Adulthood refers to the period in human life when the person is at maturity in terms of both mental and physical development. Adulthood is commonly believed to start around the age of 20 or 21. The middle age stage, which begins approximately 40 years of age and is followed by the onset of old age at about 60 years old. The three major stages of adulthood are the early years (from mid-30s to late-60s) mid-adulthood between the mid-30s through late-60s, and finally adulthood, (mid-60s up to death). At the beginning phases of adulthood (between 20 and 40) then our bodies have reached their full maturity, even though our height and weight could increase slightly. When we reach early adulthood, the physical capabilities of our bodies reach their maximum. This includes muscle strength and reaction time.
