Natalie Portman (born in Israel) is an American actress. She has had a prolific film career from her early years and has starred in various blockbusters and independent movies, earning numerous honors including an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. Portman has two kids along with her partner of more than 10 years, Benjamin Millepied, whom she met on the set of Black Swan in 2009. While she tends to keep son Aleph 12, and daughter Amalia 6 years old out of the spotlight, Portman said they have encouraged her career. Nathalie Joanne Emmanuel is a British actress. Emmanuel started her acting career performing in theater during the latter part of 1990 and was able to get roles in various West End productions such as the musical The Lion King. Emmanuel was born on the 2nd of March in Southend-on-Sea located within Essex, England. Her mother was Dominican and her father was the half Saint Lucian/half English tradition.
